Tree For Life FAQ's

What Do We Do?

We plant trees, nurture them, and care for them throughout their life — all on behalf of our customers. To clarify: this is not an investment or donation scheme; it’s a pure service offering. Our non-profit approach serves people and organizations who want to contribute to society and the earth’s ecosystem but cannot plant or maintain trees themselves. We help you engage with nature and feel the satisfaction of making a real difference.

There are countless reasons to plant trees — for the health of our planet, our communities, and future generations. Here are just a few long-term benefits: ✅ Trees absorb carbon emissions and combat climate change. ✅ Trees produce oxygen, essential for life. ✅ Trees improve biodiversity and provide critical wildlife habitats. ✅ Trees help regulate temperatures and improve air quality. ✅ Trees protect soil, conserve water, and prevent erosion. ✅ Many indigenous trees are used in traditional medicine to cure diseases. ✅ Planting trees bring social, cultural, and communal benefits.

There’s no limit to how many trees you can plant!
In fact, we encourage you to celebrate every important moment in life by planting a tree — whether it’s your wedding, engagement, new job, the birth of a child, or as a meaningful gift for any special occasion.
What better, healthier way to honor your milestones than by creating living, lasting memories? We’ll ensure your trees are nurtured and cared for, so each one grows as a living reminder of your happiest moments, cherished forever.

We provide lifelong care for every tree we plant on your behalf. From the moment of planting, our team ensures each tree is nurtured and protected through every stage of growth. We assign dedicated caretakers for daily maintenance, including watering, gardening, and site security. We carry out routine preventive treatments, apply bio-fertilizers, and ensure proper irrigation. To safeguard young trees, our project sites are typically protected by secure fencing for at least 3–4 years, giving each plant the best possible chance to establish and thrive.

Yes, we will send a certificate soft copy (rich pdf document format, containing your basic detail i.e. client ID and your name) to your email ID as soon as you opt for a plantation and make the payment. We do not promote creating and sending hardcopy to minimize carbon footprint. We will also send you the copy of bill receipt on the payment you made.

We maintain a secure, centralized online system where we record all key details — including the type of tree, planting date, and the customer linked to each tree. This database is being updated online and immediately after each new plantation. By logging into our website, you can access up-to-date information about your trees anytime. Additionally, we send updates via email or social media feeds, depending on your communication preferences. For corporate customers, we go a step further: we place a branded wooden or eco-friendly non-toxic tag for company recognition and promotion. These tags are designed to be safe for the plant and clearly visible from at least 10 meters away — offering a lasting, meaningful symbol of your organization’s environmental commitment.

Yes we do. We are liable to replace a damaged tree within first 3 years since the plantation time. There is no hidden terms, we do replace even if damage will happen due to some natural calamities i.e. flood, earth quack, fire etc. We try our best to replace the same breed of tree/plant for our customers.

We never use any planted tree or its byproducts for commercial or economic gain. Our mission is purely focused on benefiting society and treating each tree with the same respect and care we would give a human being. Once a tree reaches the end of its natural lifespan, we donate it to trusted NGOs for social or ecological purposes. However, we always give priority to the original customer — if you wish to take custody of the tree or its remains, we are happy to assist and provide full support.

A Note on Our Lifetime Tree Care Service Please remember we provide a dedicated lifetime service — not just a one-time plantation event. We don’t simply plant trees and walk away; we commit to caring for each tree on your behalf, ensuring it thrives and delivers long-term impact. Our mission is to offer a professional, accountable service where we can engage sincere individuals and organizations, transparently measure the difference we’re making for nature, and enrich lives through meaningful action. When you consider the ongoing costs — including land or lease expenses, lifelong care (caretaker salaries, preventive treatments, expert consultations, bio-fertilizers, irrigation, and more) — you’ll see that the fees we charge are modest and purely to cover these essential services, not to generate profit.

When a tree reaches to 70% of its average life span or either it has degraded to a level where a new tree/plan on the same field can provide more environmental benefits in terms of oxygen production, temperature control or soil conservation etc. An example – Azadirachta indica (neem) tree can reach up to an age of 120 years. So, the life term for such tree will be considered as 84 years. If for some unfortunate reason a tree does not grow well, collapse, get uprooted, damaged completely due to some natural calamities, such case will be considered as end-of-life term for that tree. Note: TreeForLife is liable to replace a damaged tree within first 3 years since the plantation time. Company should also maintain a timely health record of individual tree and perform preventive checks and medications.
